PrivacyScan provides informational products—specifically, Privacy Exposure Reports that compile publicly available information about you from data broker sites and other online sources.

Our reports are:

• One-time information products, not ongoing services
• A snapshot of what we find at the time of creation
• Educational resources to help you understand your digital footprint
• Guides to help you take action on your own behalf

We do not perform removals on your behalf (unless separately agreed), nor do we monitor your information on an ongoing basis.

While we provide detailed instructions for removing your information from data broker sites, we cannot guarantee:

• That any specific site will honor your removal request
• How long removals will take to process
• That removed information won't reappear later
• That we found every site with your information
• That our removal instructions will remain accurate (sites change their processes)

Data broker practices vary, and some sites may be slow to respond, deny requests, or re-acquire your information from other sources. Our report gives you the best available information and tools, but success depends on factors outside our control.

We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate reports, but:

• We rely on publicly available information that may itself be inaccurate
• Data broker sites change frequently and may block our scans
• We may miss some sites or fail to find certain records
• Information changes over time; our report is a point-in-time snapshot

Our reports are provided "as is" without warranties of completeness or accuracy.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• •PrivacyScan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our reports.
• •Our total liability for any claims arising from a report shall not exceed the amount you paid for that report.
• •We are not responsible for actions taken by third-party data brokers, including their failure to process removal requests.
• •We are not liable for any decisions you make based on information in our reports.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of certain damages. If these laws apply to you, some or all of the above limitations may not apply.

By using our service, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about yourself for the report
• Only request reports about yourself (not others)
• Use reports only for personal privacy awareness
• Not use reports for any FCRA-regulated purpose
• Not redistribute or resell our reports
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer our scanning methods

Our reports, website content, logos, and brand elements are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may:

• Use your personal report for your own purposes
• Share relevant portions with professionals helping you (e.g., attorneys)

You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from our materials without permission.

If you have a dispute with us, please contact us first—we're committed to resolving issues fairly and quickly.

If we can't resolve a dispute informally, you agree that any legal proceedings will be:

• Governed by the laws of Delaware, USA
• Conducted in the state or federal courts of Delaware
• Brought individually (not as part of a class action)

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with changes, stop using our service and contact us about any active orders.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force. The unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.
